Tiffany's Story

Why are we not building another sanctuary?
From the beginning, Anthem's vision has been to grow to average 1,000 people on Sunday mornings and then plant another church. This can be accomplished with modifications to the existing Worship Center and Kids' Building. Our Mission to equip people to live the truth of Jesus is best achieved through the engagements that
occur Monday through Saturday. The campus plan creates real spaces for real people to experience real transformation.
What happens if we don't reach our goal?
Anthem's Mission and Vision, along with the timing, belong to God. We are challenged to help fulfill His plan to the best of our abilities and to trust in Him and His leading. We can continue to hold Sunday services along with limited weekday events until the resources are available to complete construction and fulfill the vision.
How does this help us live out our mission?
Our mission to Equip People to Live the Truth of Jesus in Everyday Life is fulfilled, not only through connecting with God and others in Sunday morning services, but it is fulfilled in the things we engage in "everyday" of our lives. Living the truth is found in prayer, in learning, in one-on-one discipleship, in small groups. More than the rows we sit in, it's found in the circles that we create with others...at the cafe, in the living rooms, in the prayer chapel, in the play area, around the fires.
Circles is inspired by the conviction that community happens in circles rather than lines. It reflects the belief that God works through people gathered together, sharing responsibility, generosity, and vision. Rather than passive participation, Circles invites everyone to step into a shared story of giving, where lives are Uncommonly Impacted, ministry is strengthened, and the church moves forward together—side by side, centered on Christ.
